Wade S. Lnenicka, an elected official for the
City of Smyrna, launched his re-election campaign in September
2003. Wade, who had served as a City Council Representative of
Ward 6, who was unopposed, suddenly found that he had a formidable
opponent. His campaign team solicited the help of Grayman Solutions
to create a powerful, intensive marketing campaign to disperse
his message to his voters in less than 60 days.
The marketing campaign featured the following:

Brochure, Signs, Ads
The website address was included on his brochure,
static TV ads, signs, commercials, and mailers. The website received
over 1,200 hits in just a few weeks. Many potential voters saw
the commercials, signs, business card cds, brochures, and static
ads. The commercials, which aired on local cable TV, were seen
on several popular channels, such as, HGTV, FOX News, CNN, and
the Golf Channel. The website address was essential to dispersing
a great deal about the candidate. The website was in Spanish
to ensure that the Spanish-speaking population was able to learn
about the candidate. Wade Lnenicka won the election by a large
margin on November 4, 2003.
Grayman Solutions created a website for long-term
use. Wade Lnenicka uses the website to communicate to his constituents
through an online newsletter. The website allows his supporters
and constituents to get updated local information as well as
a means to communicate with their elected official. This model
is being adopted by many of the other council representatives. |
